I know I do not have Cystic Fibrosis but some of this resonates so much with so many other serious lung conditions.
I don’t know what happened to One Republic. They made brilliant music
It has been a strange week. Hubby went fishing on Saturday his club had a match. It is a syndicate water so only 16 anglers. Seven of them took part. They fished all day. 7am to 3.30pm nobody caught anything. He said he enjoyed it though. Me – I was feeling really sick and had heartburn. I was still taking the Flucloxicillan 1 gram 4 times a day.
The nausea had been slowly getting worse. I had to take medication to counteract nausea and I already take Lansoprazole for acid reflux so I was going a bit loopy. I admit I had a bit of a meltdown in the evening. Just didn’t know what to do. I didn’t take my final dose of the day as I just wanted to go to sleep without indigestion. Next day I started again and not too bad. Monday came and I took my morning dose and my dose before lunch and by mid-afternoon I was just at the end of my tether. To top it all I had a text from Brompton I have to have an echo on Monday before my appointment in London. Fine but the hospital can’t increase my parking time as the spaces are already booked and the echo is in Sydney Street and my appointment is on the Fulham Road. The way I am at the moment I would collapse in a heap walking from one to the other. There is a lovely little mini bus that will transport me from one to the other but I still have to walk from my car. I have stopped my antibiotic – only a day short. I go mad when I can’t function. Other things happened on Monday to make my day worse but that is a long story – GP Surgery – need I say more. One good thing that happened on Monday was Aspergillosis Trust had a meeting with a Pharmaceutical Company and hopefully they are going to help us do some of our projects. It will make life easier it is so frustrating when we have these ideas and no money!
Not sure what is going on in my lungs but I am fine sitting but walking from one room to the other and I am breathless so I hope I get some good news on Monday.Visiting my second home!
I am behind with everything so apologise to anyone that has asked me to do anything but hopefully I will be able to catch up over the weekend.
One lovely thing though – one of my great friends (we used to work together at NatWest) came to visit. She lives in Spain and she is over as she has just become a grandma again. Her and her hubby came to visit and we got a pizza looked at baby photos and had a good natter.
Real up and down week.
